This is the entrance to Auschwitz where Elie and his father were during the Holocaust. This picture reminds me of the part in the book where they are made to march outside of the camp and he reads the sign. The sign means work makes you free. They would never be free because of the work they were forced to do. Their only way out was unfortunately death.

The other two are well-written. Good citations and choices of pictures. The 3rd picture is definitely memorable.
